Der Teil, der in und am Haus noch zu renovieren ist, wird kleiner ... es gibt noch ein paar Dinge zu tun, aber wenn ich das mit dem vergleiche, was schon geschafft ist, dann bin ich zuversichtlich.

So habe ich mir ein Datum gesetzt, an dem es erst mal geschafft sein soll mit dem Umbauen und ich voll und ganz Gastgeberin sein will: der 10. Juni. Dort gibt es einen Tag der offenen Tür und danach geht es richtig los!

Wenn jemand schon im Frühling kommen will, bitte einfach anfragen, wenn es passt und nicht mit dem Renovieren kollidiert, sehr gerne! Und für den Sommer kann einfach gebucht werden.

The things to be renovated at and in the house are becoming less and less ... there is still something to do. But if I compare it to the things already done, I am confident.

That's why I set a date where I want to be done with the renovations and fully care about my guests: June, 10th. This will be the open door day and then, off we go!

If somebody already wants to come in spring, please just ask, and if it doesn't collide with the renovations, I am happy to host you! And you can just go ahead with your bookings for summer. More

Die Lesewoche im November wird aufgrund mangelnder Teilnehmerzahl nicht stattfinden wird. Das ist schade, vor allem in Anbetracht der Tatsache, dass viele Leute begeistert von der Idee waren. Aufgrund des generellen Interesses ist es gut möglich, dass wir nächstes Jahr einen neuen Anlauf nehmen und eine ähnliche Veranstaltung, wenn auch in einem anderen Format (sicherlich kürzer) planen werden. Dennoch finden im Herbst hier zwei tolle Lesungen statt und wer möchte, kann trotzdem einfach eine Lesung mit ein paar Lesetagen hier in der Lodge verbinden

Wie bereits angekündigt, plane ich bereits diverse Veranstaltungen für dieses Jahr. Ein ganz besondere ist die Durchführungeiner Lesewoche. Grundgedanke: Teilnehmer erhalten hier in meiner Lodge Zeit und das richtige Ambiente zum Lesen. Dazu Vollverpflegung und der Austausch mit Gleichgesinnten. Und ein paar Highlights wie Teesophieren (Teeverköstigung mit Buchdiskussion) und das Einschließen in der Buchhandlung gibt es auch. Auf Anfrage schicke ich Interessenten ganz unverbindlich das Informationsblatt mit mehr Details, Preisen, Konditionen und dem Anmeldeformular zu. Da ich ja selbst gerne lese, freue ich mich so auf die Veranstaltung!

As announced, I am planning several events for this year. A special one will be a "reading week". The basic idea is to give the participants time and the right ambiance to read in my lodge. Full catering and exchange with like-minded people. And a few highlights as "Teesophieren" (tea tasting & philosophizing about a book) and an "enclosure" in the bookshop are planned as well. I will send more information to interested people. I am so much looking forward to this event as I love to read myself.

Wie bereits angekündigt, werde ich meinen Blog von nun an auf meiner Webseite www.black-forest-lodge.eu hier weiterführen. Eine kurze Erklärung zur neuen Struktur: Auf der Webseite gibt es ein Menü mit dem Namen Blog, wo ich neue Blogartikel schreiben werde. Thematisch wird sich wohl alles ein wenig von der Renovierung weg und hin zu Berichten über Gäste und vergangene Events verlagern. Aber auch der ein oder andere Gedanke von mir. Zudem gibt es auf der Webseite eine Kategorie "Events",  auf der ich sämtliche geplante Veranstaltungen eintragen werde. Ich bin bereits am Planen des ganzen Jahres, dort wird sich in nächster Zeit also einiges tun, schaut ruhig regelmäßig dort vorbei! Zuletzt gibt es eine Kategorie "News", auf der ich über Neuigkeiten und Änderungen, die nicht zu Events zählen, berichten werde.

Und nun zum ersten Event: Die Planung schreitet voran und nun steht das Datum für die offizielle Eröffnung im Rahmen eines Tages der offenen Tür. Jeder ist herzlich eingeladen, vorbeizukommen und sich alles anzusehen!

As already announced, I will continute to write my blog on my website here www.black-forest-lodge.eu. A short explanation to the new structure: On the website, there is a menu called "Blog", where I will write new blog articles. The  main focus will probably shift from renovation to reports on guests and past events. But I will still note down one or the other thought that I have. Further, there's a categorie "Events", where I will enregister all scheduled events. I am currently planning several events for this year, so there will be something going on on this page, please look at if regularily if you are interested! Lastly, there's a category "News", where I will write about news and changes which do not fall in the event-category. 

And now to the first event: The planning is progressing and now the date for the official opening with an open door day is set. Everybody is invited to step by and see everything live!  More
