Als ich mir gerade mein Haus gekauft hatte, haben mir viele Freunde erzählt, dass sie mich irgendwann besuchen kommen und/oder helfen würden. Ein paar Monate später bin ich schon total entzückt, wie viele Leute bereits hier waren! Bevor die erste Helferin kam, war ich allerdings etwas unsicher, ob ich denn im Schwarzwald wirklich Besuch bekommen würde. Nur bei meinen Eltern, meinem Bruder ... und Nicole war ich mir ganz sicher. Nicole kenne ich praktisch schon seit meiner Geburt, und unsere Freundschaft ist somit bald 30 Jahre alt. Nett, oder? Letzte Woche kam sie dann spontan für einen kurzen Besuch hier an. Wir haben in der Garage Betten weiß lasiert und ein anderes Bett im Haus aufgebaut. Auch da hat sich gezeigt, dass wir ein eingespieltes Team sind.

So, jetzt gibt's mal wieder ein paar Bilder. Ich war die letzten Wochen fleißig am Tapezieren. Standardmäßig wird ja weiß gestrichen (deshalb habe ich heute den oberen Gang auch mit Rauhfasertapete tapeziert). Aber bei so vielen Räumen kann ich mich designmäßig ja toll austoben und bin in Bezug auf Tapeten auch richtig mutig geworden. Ich weiß, die folgende Tapete polarisiert. Ich find sie klasse, und man hat bei dem kunstvollen Blumenmuster richtig was zu schauen. Es sind übrigens nur 2 Wände geblümt, die anderen beiden weiß. Und die Möbel werden auch weiß in dem Zimmer. Und wer das gar nicht sehen kann, es gibt auch viele weiß gestrichene Zimmer...

Well, I'm back with a few pictures. I have been wallpapering quite a bit during the last weeks. Normally, the rooms will be painted in white (and therefore I have wallpapered the upper hallway with woodchip wallpaper today). But with so many rooms, I like to become creative designwise, and I have become courageous with respect to the wallpapers. I am aware that the wallpaper I will show first polarizes. I like it and you really can observe a lot of details looking at the floral pattern. By the way, only two out of four walls are coloured, the remaining two are painted in white. And all the furniture will be white, too. And if you can't see this at all, there will be completely white rooms... More
