Das Bücherzimmer - the book room
Im obersten Stock der Black Forest Lodge gibt es ja 6 Zimmer mit Gemeinschaftsbädern. In der Etage darunter hingegen soll es Zimmer mit eigenem Badezimmer geben - diese müssen nur noch eingebaut werden ;-) . Ich hoffe, dass das im Juni passiert - erst danach kann ich tapezieren, streichen, Böden verlegen (lassen) und schließlich einrichten. Die Zimmer im obersten Stock aber sind nun vollständig eingerichtet. Auch wenn ich gedanklich gerade wieder sehr weit weg vom Einrichten bin, da andere angefangene Baustellen im Haus mich einnehmen, will ich euch doch noch das letzte fertige Zimmer oben zeigen. Es ist ein Mottozimmer, und zwar das Bücherzimmer.
Das Bettgestell habe ich ganz alleine gekauft und abgeholt (mein erster Ausflug mit Auto und Anhänger, der weiter als zur Mülldeponie ging). Für den Nachttisch habe ich sogar mein eigenes Schlafzimmer ausgeräumt, indem ich den Bücherstapel nach oben transportiert habe:
On the upper floor in the Black Forest Lodge, there are 6 rooms with shared bathrooms. On the floor below, there shall be rooms with en-suite bathrooms - well, these still have to build in. I hope that this will happen in June, because I can't wallpaper, paint, (let) renew the floors and decorate before this will be done. But the rooms in the upper floor are pretty much furnished and finished by now. Even if I am very far from decorating matters at the moment, as there are several other works going on, I want to show you the last room on the upper floor. It's a theme room, the book room to be precise.
I bought and got the bed all on my own (my first tour with the car and the trailer that was longer than to the landfill site). And I even emptied my own sleeping room by bringing the bedside table made out of books upstairs:

Für die Fertigstellung der Einrichtung des Zimmers half Claudi, welche letztes Mal schon mitangepackt hat. Diesmal oblag ihr die Gestaltung der Sprüche für die Wand, farblich passend zum bereits hängenden Bild.
Claudi, who helped to build up the furniture in the room, came again to help finishing it. This time, she created pictures with quotes for the walls, matching the painting that we already had hung up.
Ist super geworden - wir sind beide total glücklich über das Ergebnis:
The result is great and we are both happy about it:
Für die Erneuerung des Waschbeckenbereichs hatte ich ja Hilfe von meinem Bruder. Der Schrank hat mich sehr viele Nerven gekostet, dieser war bereits im Haus und ich habe ihn selbst neu gestrichen (und an 100 Stellen nachgestrichen und ihn mit einem netten Helfer 3 Stunden lang aufgebaut):
My brother helped to renew the washbasin area. I painted the wardrobe. This one really cost me a lot of nerves. I needed to repaint at 100 places and setting it up took me and a nice helper 3 hours:
Die Aussicht und der eigene Balkon sind auch nicht zu vernachlässigen. Nun muss nur noch die Zimmertüre eingehängt werden. Ich glaube, dann teste ich dieses Zimmer ganz bald selbst mal, indem ich mir einen Lesetag gönne.
The view from the balcony is worth a photo as well. Now, only the door still needs to be brought back into place. I think I will soon test this room by treating myself with a reading day.
