Auf der Sonnenseite - on the sunny side
Am Samstag wurden die Bretter (aus Schwarzwaldtanne) für die Schalung der Außenfassade an der Frontseite des Hauses am Dachgiebel geliefert, sowie die ganzen neuen Balkonbretter. Ich habe mit dem Streichen bei perfekten Wetterbedingungen begonnen. Ich hätte mir wirklich keinen schöneren Frühlingsanfang vorstellen können! Es hat so Spaß gemacht, einfach für ein paar Stunden am Stück an der Sonne zu streichen.
Last Saturday, the wooden blanks (from Black Forest fir) for the sheating of the frontside of the house at the gable have been delivered, as well as the new blanks for all the balconies. I have started to paint them in perfect weather conditions. I couldn't have wished for a nicer beginning of spring! I really enjoyed this so much to be able to just spend a few hours in a row painting in the sun.

Ich hatte zwar einen Helfer. Dieser weiß sich jedoch selbst zu beschäftigen... und die Sonne in Igelsberg reicht schon, um ihn glücklich zu machen (wenn am Bodensee Nebel herrscht).
Well, I did have a helper. But this one occupies himself...and the sun in Igelsberg is enough to make him happy (if there is fog at the lake of Constance).
